beautiful gardens, character-filled corridors, charming historic architecture
Shower holder broken!!! Chairs and sofas stained!!! Musty smell in the room!!! Prices for food too high!!! Consider replacing plastic water bottles with glass ones for sustainability!!!

we loved our stay at the smokehouse! the gardens were absolutely beautiful, and the cozy bar was perfect for chilling at the end of the day. the staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the food, especially the afternoon tea with scones, was delicious! overall, it had a real charming vibe that we enjoyed.
but the mattress was way too hard for comfort and we struggled a bit with some of the stairs since there's no lift.

Charming gardens with delightful breakfasts
Woke up to the aroma of fresh pastries and enjoyed the beautiful gardens every evening. Breakfast was a feast, offering an array of delightful options alongside friendly service.
The bathroom needed an update and the mattress was too firm for my liking. A little more warmth from the staff could elevate the experience.

the whole experience was just underwhelming. granted, the 'charming' decor was nice, but the shower was broken and a torture to use. The service was just lackluster, with no warmth from the staff. for the price, i expected a room upgrade or at least some chocolate on my pillow—such an oversight! i almost gave a stellar review but just couldn’t.

Idyllic Escape with Unique Culinary Delights
Staying here was a charming experience! The historic Warwick Suite was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast spread impressed us, especially enjoying table service. Dinner highlights included the exquisite Beef Wellington. Remember to request a quiet room away from the highway for a restful night. Highly recommend using Grab for transport.

The Smokehouse is a charmingly historic hotel that transports guests back to 1939 with its English cottage-style architecture and lovely gardens. The portions at breakfast are generous. the made-to-order traditional English breakfast comes with delightful pastries and fresh juice that'll definitely fill you up! Dining here is a cozy affair, with their famous Beef Wellington being a must-try dish alongside their delicious scones during afternoon tea.
Old mouldy smell.
